InkSoft is integrated with two of the leading email marketing service providers. We recommend MailChimp. Learn more aboutMailChimp and Constant Contact

When your users create accounts from your web stores they will be opted in for special offers and news UNLESS they opt out. All email marketing will be done through MailChimp or Constant Contact -- not InkSoft. InkSoft handles 'transactional' emails such as order confirmations, account creation, quotes, et al.

This function automatically adds email subscribers to your MailChimp or Constant Contact accounts.

To configure email marketing:

In order to use Email Campaign functionality you will need to generate API keys for MailChimp and Constant Contact. Please note: InkSoft does not provide support for third party applications.

Constant Contact API Instructions

Select MailChimp or Constant Contact to enable. You will be prompted to enter your API Key and login in formation (Constant Contact only).

Step #3

In MailChimp and Constant Contact you manage email subscribers by 'Lists'. These help you to group / segment email subscribers by interests / category.

In the step, you will need to associate web stores to lists.

  1. Select a web store from the drop-down
  2. Select email marketing list(s) from the drop-down. NOTE: You can subscribe users to more than one list.

Click Save

Subscribers

Clicking subscribers will allow you to view ALL subscribers for the selected web store.

Add New Subscriber

You can  manually add email subscribers to selected list(s) and associate with web stores.

After entering the fields below click Save

NOTE: You must select 'subscribe', with indicates the user is opted in.
