When your users create accounts from your web stores they will be opted in for special offers and news UNLESS they opt out. All email marketing will be done through MailChimp or Constant Contact -- not InkSoft. InkSoft handles 'transactional' emails such as order confirmations, account creation, quotes, et al.
This function automatically adds email subscribers to your MailChimp or Constant Contact accounts.
To configure email marketing:
In order to use Email Campaign functionality you will need to generate API keys for MailChimp and Constant Contact. Please note: InkSoft does not provide support for third party applications.
In MailChimp and Constant Contact you manage email subscribers by 'Lists'. These help you to group / segment email subscribers by interests / category.
In the step, you will need to associate web stores to lists.
Clicking subscribers will allow you to view ALL subscribers for the selected web store. From here you can see the users Email, Name, Subscription Status, and when the user was created.
You can also add subscribers to selected list(s) and associate with web stores manually.
Click Save to submit
