NOTE: You will need a FedEx account number AND a meter number BEFORE you can use the automated integration features. See this guide for instructions on getting your FedEx meter number.
After you configure your shipping methods, you should always test to ensure they are properly configured. Note that there are both a test and live processing mode. Be sure to use LIVE after you are done testing.
After selecting automated integration, you will notice three FedEx account fields will appear.
After selecting Yes for automated integration you will be prompted with the following:

After clicking 'Save' from the step below you can expand FedEx and you will see a 'Shipping Method' accordion. Here you will see a warning that no shipping method have yet been configured.
After clicking the 'Add New Shipping Method' button you will see the following controls:
